The Cartoon‑Inspired Deafmetal® Coil Hat is a playful yet practical accessory designed to help secure cochlear implant coils while allowing for personal expression. Made from white leather with a UV‑printed cartoon design, this Coil Hat offers a lightweight, comfortable fit with a distinctive visual style suitable for both children and adults.

The Coil Hat features Velcro integrated into the inside of the hat, with three Velcro counterparts included per order. The shape of the Velcro attachment selected depends on the surface of the cochlear implant coil. The rectangular Velcro attachment (10 mm × 19 mm) is suitable for devices such as Cochlear™ Nucleus® 5 and 6, while the round attachment (19 mm diameter) fits models including Nucleus® 7 and 8.

Deafmetal® Coil Hats can be worn with or without a safety chain. When used with a safety chain, the Coil Hat can be connected to ear cuff safety rings, earrings, hair, or clothing for added security. Users wishing to secure their cochlear implant with a safety chain should select the Coil Hat + Chain Link option from the dropdown menu. Safety chains are sold separately in the Just Safety Chains category.

All Deafmetal® products are sold as a single piece, not in pairs, as many users only wear one hearing device.
