The Nala Deafmetal® Gold Hoop with Blue Crystals and Safety Chain is a striking piece of hearing aid jewellery designed to blend symbolism, elegance, and practical support. Nala is a golden Deafmetal featuring a small hoop earring encrusted with royal blue and clear crystals, offering a vivid contrast and refined sparkle.

The name Nala carries layered meaning, translating to “first drink of water” or “drinking water in the desert”, and in another dialect, “queen” or “lion”. This design forms part of the Osotua Collection, inspired by the Maasai concept of osotua—a deep bond of mutual care and support rooted in helping one another without expectation of return.

Crafted with an 18K gold micro‑plated brass hoop, the design is paired with a 925 sterling silver chain and lock, also finished with gold micro‑plating. The 7 cm safety chain provides reliable support and is suitable for use with hearing aids and cochlear implant processors, helping to reduce the risk of accidental loss while remaining lightweight and comfortable.

Please note that Deafmetal Fasteners (used to attach Deafmetal jewellery to hearing aids, cochlear implants, or BAHA devices) are not included and must be ordered separately.
All Deafmetal® jewellery is sold as a single piece, not in pairs, as many users only wear one hearing device.
