The Lacy Black Deafmetal® Coil Hat is a refined and practical accessory designed specifically to secure cochlear implant coils while adding a subtle decorative element. Made from black laser‑cut leather, the Lacy Black Coil Hat features a delicate pattern that allows the design to remain lightweight and breathable while maintaining durability. To ensure compatibility with different cochlear implant coil designs, the Coil Hat includes Velcro integrated into the inside of the hat, along with three Velcro counterparts per order. The appropriate Velcro attachment depends on the surface and model of the cochlear implant coil. The rectangular Velcro attachment (10 mm × 19 mm) is suitable for devices such as Cochlear™ Nucleus® 5 and 6, while the round Velcro attachment (19 mm diameter) is designed for models such as Nucleus® 7 and 8. This flexible attachment system allows users to achieve a secure fit tailored to their specific device.

The Lacy Black Coil Hat may be worn with or without a safety chain, depending on individual needs and preferences. When used without a chain, the Coil Hat provides discreet protection and positioning of the implant coil. When additional security is required, it can be paired with a safety chain and attached to ear cuff safety rings, earrings, hair accessories, or clothing, offering peace of mind during daily activities.
